The Park is the most visited among all of the National Parks of Brazil, while also being the smallest at roughly 34 square km.

also famous is The vista chinesa (Chinese View), celebrating the contribution of the Chinese immigrants brought to Brazil with a pagoda pavilion and unparalleled views of all the zona sul - similarly to the the Excelsior Lookout, offering views of the southern, central and northern slope of the park.
