the view of christ the redeemer is a good one, and families can build many memories on a nice day here. like other beaches off the guanabara bay, the water is questionable, so it may be best to stay on the sand and play games while the little ones catch a glimpse of the boats coming and going. shallow waters and plenty of local infrastructure, such as bars and restaurants, make of this small beach a sure bet for anyone looking for family time and tranquility, as opposed to the typical day at the beach.
