at a glance

but what these schools don't have in funds, they make up in ingenuity and creativity - often surprising the public just the same.

the floats are smaller, and often don't have an engine to push them forward, relying instead of volunteers pushing them along the parade - also, there are not several thousands of performers, and the costumes are not as elaborate as the ones seen in the sambódromo .

however, there are still hundreds of people parading, and the passion and love for the event is as apparent on these performers as it is on any other ones we have seen. arrow-back     arrow-forward
