Con-Versando is the yearly publication distributed at the fair that takes within its sheets the messages and the subjects tackled by the most talented and out-spoken people in the crowd. street parties and impromptu musical events accompany the festival, and in light of the magic effect that this event has had in Santa Teresa, it has been replicated by other cities across brazil. every year, all eyes in the contemporary art world  turn to píer mauá on avenida rodrigues alves, where ArtRio International Fair - the rio de janeiro international contemporary art fair, takes place in september. the fair, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors over its last  installments, features works from the major national contemporary galleries as well as works from internationally renown galleries such as gagosian, david zwirner, white cube, kaikai kiki and from the collections of ella cisneros and moma curator jay levinson.
