proposed Investments lower than the official amount are be evaluated by the National Confederation of Industry of brazil - CNI, that will look at a variety of factors including the area of the country where the investment will take place and its potential value, the number of jobs created or forecasted to be created over a set time frame, and the type of business or technology it will bring or create. This visa must be initiated while in Brazil and can take between six months to a year to be issued. Once complete, the visa is valid for three years and is renewable by demonstrating completion of any agreements with the CNI, and/or creation of jobs for Brazilian nationals, and of course the payment of any and all taxes. |
