Specialized in the study of well being and other social sciences, the professionals graduated from Centro Universitario Celso Lisboa (UCL) are more than 20.000 in over 43 years of experience and growth. Its founder, Celso Lisboa, worked as a political and economic activist, devoting most of his life to the social impact of education and health. He founded the Centro de Recuperação Bela Vista, the Obra de Assistência Social for children and adolescents and a Sociedade Universitária under his name, in 1971, which became a center recognized by the state, in 1998. More than 20 laboratories constitute part of the infrastructure of the nucleus and, in its 14.000 m2 20+ pre graduate and postgraduate choices welcome hundreds of students every year.
