garcia is the co-editor of the brazilian poetry magazines inimigo rumor and modo de usar & co., along with other poets angelica freitas, fabiano calixto and ricardo domeneck. garcia credits her early education in poetry to the internet, where she discovered contemporary poets from countries across the globe, including in spain, france, argentina, and portugal. she currently lives and works in săo paulo.

one established poet who touched people in the entire world through the poems she wrote in the lasting of her career is savary augusta maria - though born in pará, she spent most of her adult life in rio de janeiro - and this was the time that her writing was at top.
