The Villa-Lobos Festival established itself both as the largest and most comprehensive Brazilian music festival in the country, and as an aggregator of top talent across different generations and genres, offering access to an important representation of Brazilian musical culture.

Past editions have hosted such remarkable artists as the composer César Guerra-Peixe, the accordionist Richard Galliano, the pianist Clelia Iruzun, singer and guitarist Joăo Bosco, the Art Metal Quintet, and the guitarist Yamandú Costa.

With over 50 attractions around the city of Rio de Janeiro, this event prioritizes both concert and popular Brazilian music, making room for interpreters, soloists and composers, and encouraging the formation of new audiences and the spreading musical knowledge.
