furthermore, the beach stages a variety of musical events. in the past internationally acclaimed artists, such as the rolling stones and stevie wonder have performed here, attracting massive crowds. during the summer, the beach also hosts various international sporting competitions, such as soccer and volleyball.

for those who enjoy a more relaxing beach experience there are countless barracas - stalls along the length of the beach, offering umbrellas and deck chairs as well as refreshments against a small fee.
