at a glance

created in 1960 to welcome home the remains of brazilian soldiers temporarily buried in italy, this monument is as impressive as it is important.  three separate sculptures honor airmen, sailors, and soldiers. granite was used to create a 31meter sculpture in honor of all soldiers, while metal was used for an additional sculpture dedicated to airmen, and a separate tile composition is dedicated to sailors - learn more about weekly and monthly military events held at this monument here.  arrow-back      arrow-forward
