Palácio Laranjeiras (laranjeiras palace) was Built between 1909 and 1913 and is the former residence of the Guinle family, one of the most affluent and influential families of the first decades of the 20th Century - following the death of the patriarch Eduardo Guinle in 1941, the family began to sell the estate to the federal government and in 1947 President Dutra acquired the property in order to host distinguished visitors and Heads of State. |
