museu judaico do rio de janeiro - mjrj  (the jewish museum of rio de janeiro) was founded in 1977. it includes permanent exhibits on the history of the jewish community in rio de janeiro. the museum also promotes academic research and holds events portraying jewish traditions and aspects including religious, cultural and historical. the museum has an informative holocaust exhibit, and a video library with more than a thousand titles.
