Brasiliana fotogrfica (Brasilian Photography) is a unit and body of the fundao Biblioteca Nacionall (National Library Foundation), created as a space to provide visibility, stimulate debate and reflect upon the achievements of the photographic genre of documentation, part of Brazil's great digital heritage.

The initiative is a joint effort of the fundao Biblioteca Nacionall (National Library Foundation) and the Instituto Moreira Salles (Moreira Salles Institute), and the collection is saved on an online portal. While browsing the collection, users can save the results of their search on the portal, to return to them at a later date, or share them on social networks.

The first galleries include Retratos (Portraits), Cenas de Rua (Street Scenes), and para uma histria social da reproduo fotomecnica (Towards a Social History of Photomechanical Reproduction).   arrow-back     arrow-forward
