at a glance
for samba fans, the famous niterói 's samba schools viradouro and cubango also performed together for the first time at réveillon at icaraí.

on december 31st, for the festa da virada, around 500 thousand people start gathering at around 8 pm to welcome the new year.

and finally, an impressive 20-minute long fireworks show  reflects on the waters of guanabara bay, illuminating the museum and the hills around icaraí creating a truly beautiful scenario.

nine thousand fireworks, distributed on three rafts across from icaraí beach, generate amazing color combinations and intricate designs while keeping the noise level down. arrow-back      arrow-forward
