buses will be available before and after the show, but will be typically very overcrowded and slow.the bus service will be divided in three specific boarding areas, depending on the destination: botafogo, lagoa, and ipanema. from botafogo, starting at rua real grandeza, at about 2 km from copacabana beach, there are buses going to centro, tijuca, penha, méier, grajaú, and other areas in the northern part of rio including the rodoviaria novo rio, the main inter-state and inter-municipal bus station. the buses servicing the region of são cristóvão are stationed at about 1km from the beach, in lagoa near the corte do cantagalo.
