the four kilometer stretch of copacabana becomes packed tight with revelers who flock to the many stages and concerts that pop up, there is a real party atmosphere which certainly isn't for the faint hearted. the beach gets extremely crowded as of 11 pm, with revelers occupying every square inch of the sand and some even standing in the water. the two far edges of the beach, the arpoador end and the leme end, are slightly less crowded and best suited for families with children. the center of the beach, by the main stage at the copacabana palace is where the most dancing, partying, and energy will be. | ||||
