in 1975 Brazil and cape verde officially formed diplomatic ties and in 1977 the two countries signed the technical cooperation agreement and projects based on agriculture, education, health and regulatory agencies were formulated in correspondence with brazilian institutes - the first brazilian presidential visit to cape verde happened in 1983.
