Eastern Europe is a dynamic concept, its definition being subject of multiple interpretations - In this sense, the countries below were chosen to be presented in this section solely for reasons of internal organization, as well as taking into consideration the geographic references that are usual in this division - this does not imply any idea of actual separation or dissent between eastern and western Europe.

As most of the countries included in our Eastern Europe section were part of the USSR during most of the 20th century, many of these countries only recently started having an independent political and commercial relationship with Brazil.
