botafogo praia shopping was opened in 1999, at the building which used to host the sears store - often overlooked by international visitors who normally go shopping at the nearby rio sul mall, this smaller establishment is actually a great option for some peaceful shopping, and most definitely to enjoy coffee or a lunch with a spectacular view.

the mall has eight floors, and 170 shops with an excellent selection of clothing stores including some of rio de janeiro's best designers - the seventh-floor food court has several popular restaurants such as kotobuki and emporium pax, as well as brazilian and global franchises that include mcdonald's.
