at a glance

snorkeling is a common activity worldwide and is remarkable different than scuba diving - with snorkelling the swimmer generally has a diving mask, swim fins, and a snorkel - the snorkel limits the depth to which a participant can spend under water since, like turtles, they need to come up for air.

snorkelling can be practiced in a variety of conditions but is most ideal in warm and clear water - these conditions allow individuals the ability to go for long snorkel sessions while seeing as much marine life as possible. a wet suit is often used in cold weather and enables the snorkeler to watch and interact with underwater sea life for extended periods of time.  arrow-back     arrow-forward
