a total of 273 events took place during the celebrations, divided among ten different regions in the city, including nova iguaçu and duque de caxias. events were given in portuguese, spanish, or english.

however, in total over 20 languages were used to conduct ceremonies and a wide range of presentations, talks, and seminars. bands and choirs were also scheduled to entertain the crowds, especially in copacabana that filled the final three days of the week.
