in addition to the immense size of the structure, there are also some intriguing features of the statue, which can be difficult to spot with the naked eye.

on the head of the statue, which alone is 3.75 meters tall and weighs 30 tons, there is a small metal crown, which represents the crown of thorns, whilst just below the head, there is a heart protruding from christ's chest.

at the base of the statue, there is a pedestal, 8 meters in height, that christ stands on, and which hosts a small chapel- this chapel is used for genuine religious functions, and accommodates about 150 people standing.
