there are also important pieces by latin american artists like jorge de la vega, guillermo kuitca, xul solar and antónio seguí from argentina or joaquín torres garcia from uruguay, as well as international artists fernand léger (france), carlo carrà (italy), barry flanagan (wales) and henry moore (england).

visitors can also see a collection of 1500 pictures taken by brazilian and foreign photographers, among other exhibits that make up the museum's permanent displays. in recent years, a large auditorium was built, annexed to the museum. it is currently one of the most popular sites for concerts, showing national and international artists.
