amongst many attractions within the park, parque estadual da pedra branca boasts the city's highest peak - the pico da pedra branca, with an astonishing 1,025 meters of altitude. due to the parks environmental importance, as well as its wealth of natural marvels, it is one of the city's top areas of interest, drawing in an average of three thousand visitors a month, which accumulates to 36,000 a year.
