when reaching in a fork in the trail, that path to the right is the one that will lead to the summit. in any case, there are more signs  interspersed along the trail, marking various lookouts and resting spots. the hike to the top takes approximately half an hour, and the visual reward at the end (and along the way) is worth every minute of it.
