before reaching the cachoeira do camorim, in the parque estudal pedra branca (white rock state park), there is an optional hike along a four-kilometre trail spoiled with interesting sites. the walk begins at cedae water treatment plant and there are stunning views of the dam (located 436 meters above sea-level -higher than sugar loaf mountain).

many stones left over from the construction of the dam lie scattered along the trail covered in layers of slippery moss and greenery -it is an interesting sight considering how they have become part of the forest over time.
