one reason prainha remains so quiet is that there is no public transport linking the beach to the rest of the city. there is a private surf bus, with a capacity of 30, that passes through the neighborhoods of botafogo, flamengo, copacabana, leblon, barra da tijuca, and são conrado. prainha can be seen on this satellite view, zoom settings open correctly when using chrome. we posted more information about prainha and the surrounding area on this page.
