praia do flamengo is located in the southern zone of rio de janeiro, along the guanabara bay. it is surrounded by the neighborhood of the same name and bordered by the parque do flamengo (aterro do flamengo). spanning a little more than 1500 meters, its white sands are bordered with lush greenery that separates it from the bustling urban area of the flamengo neighborhood creating a true oasis for the locals.
