some can only muster groups of a few hundred people and their resources are more limited than those of the elite of samba schools.  

even so, they sure do not lack in other areas - imagination is an important tool and some use their simpler resources and a great deal of irreverence to their best advantage.

among such schools, which mark the parades with their uniqueness, are currently those of the likes of the g. r. e. s. lins imperial, the g. r. e. s. gato do bonsucesso and the g. r. e. s. unidos de cosmos.
