at a glance
the artist alberto serrano, known as Tito,  has over 150 'street comic' works spread across the city depicting the figure of Zé Ninguém, the equivalent of 'Joe Nobody', who is on a quest to find and rescue his beloved Ana - homeless, with no friends or family, he is forced to ask a number of difficult questions about the meaning of life.

Tito was born in the Bronx, but re-settled in Rio, where he developed a creative, hybrid art form, synthesizing his passion for comics with the urban metropolis in which he lived.

Zé is almost always depicted topless, wearing shorts, and often accompanied by his dog.  arrow-back      arrow-forward
