its fine structure, spanning across 7 thousand square meters, is comprised of a four exhibition rooms, three theatres, a museum, a cinema, and a library, which combined put on an eclectic mix of shows, films, exhibitions, debates, workshops and concerts. there are temporary exhibitions on display on the first and second floors, whilst the museum on the sixth floor holds the center's permanent exhibition, which is one of the most revered in the city. originally opened in 1955, the collection includes 38,000 pieces of historical currency, and 45 pieces of artwork linked to the institution, amongst many more intriguing artifacts.
