issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ministério das Relações Exteriores) courtesy visas are granted to domestic employees of diplomatic mission heads and diplomatic and consular officials accredited to the Brazilian Government, as well as to foreign officials in an unofficial trip to Brazil, and respective dependents such as  cohabitant, spouse, or offspring of visitors with official or diplomatic visa.
