One of the more unusual visas, the Visto Temporário VII or VITEM VII is a visa issued by the Ministry of Foreign Relations to religious professionals such as missionaries, clergymen, religious scholars, and researchers from other countries who plan on engaging in religious activities in Brazil.

This religious visa is valid for up to a year and can be renewed for additional years, but no later than 30 days before expiration.
