The Spectaculu is a non-profit organization which was founded in 1999 by set-designer Gringo Cardia and actress Marisa Orth at Cais do Porto, in Rio - It is a very highly regarded school in the areas of Art, Technology and The Performing Arts for those aged between 17 and 21, who study at public schools and reside in less socially developed regions of the city.
