AFS Intercultural Brazil is an organization which provides intercultural learning through exchange programs - The Brazil branch is a faction of American Field Service, an institution created in the States in the midst of World War 1 in 1914, opened in 1956 and they have since sent and received around 12,000 students.

Their core aim is to broaden access to intercultural skills and language abilities, in the hopes of forming global citizens - The activities of the organization are based on the core value of peace, which they believe is achieved through the principles of dignity, respect for differences, harmony and cross-cultural sensitivity and tolerance.
