REDEH, Rede de Desenvolvimento Humano  was founded in 1990, combining two important areas of activism and development in Rio de Janeiro - feminism and the environment.

The organization focuses on bringing to fruition public policy recommendation on gender, partly by providing training courses for various public officials and teachers - They also work to improve women's rights, confront racism and defend environmental justice.
