Founded in 1991 by Dr. vera Cordeiro, Saúde Criança is a social organization which assists children who have been hospitalized as a result of chronic diseases and who are living below the poverty line - It uses a pioneering methodology, aimed at facilitating the self-sufficiency of families and improving their home environment by focusing on health, housing, citizenship, income and education.
