Refazer, Grupo de apoio à Criança e ao Adolescente was founded in 1995, aiming to reduce the levels of hospital re-admission amongst children and adolescents from low-income backgrounds - Patients are referred by the Instituto Fernandes Figueira, a maternal and child care hospital.

The organization provides hospital supplies, medicine, food and job training, and offers families a place where they feel welcome, safe and cared for.
