Founded in 1981, the Instituto Brasileiro de Análises Sociais e Econômicas, Brazilian Institute of Social and Economic Analysis, IBASE aims at the radicalization of democracy and the assertion of active citizenship - The institute works to strengthen the fabric of society and develop and influence public policy.
