The collection of publications and TV series of the same name were produced by Salto para o Futuro (Jump for the Future), working in conjunction with the writer and hip-hop researcher, Ecio Salles. The texts in this collection exhibit a shared desire to expand rights and deepen democracy. Underpinning the work is a belief that micro-policies, based around the formation of subjectivities, will have macro-policy effects and facilitate the re-invention of the city - Ecio Salles compares implementers of social initiatives to artists who must not get carried away with an ideal or a myth, but must remain committed to the real world and the tools at their disposal, always mobilizing the indigenous collective.
