getting to this part of the city from zona sul is time consuming due to traffic and narrow roads, thus we recommend starting the day very early. 

even better, it would be spending one night in a local pousada, so to start exploring right away the following day.   

estrada de grumari connects grumari beach to estrada roberto burle marx, and in turn to the marambaia.  

for first-time visitors, the best way would be via taxi, which could be expensive unless divided 4-way, the maximum number of passengers allowed in a regular taxi - an average taxi ride will be about 80 minutes each way, and could total about 300 reals roundtrip. arrow-back      arrow-forward
