at a glance

in an effort to preserve this beach, the road that borders it has no parking spaces, and it is not serviced by public transportation.  soft white sand, strong waves, a deep blue water surrounded by untouched nature, make praia da reserva a particularly private beach where many go to seek tranquility.

many fishermen and scuba divers find their way on this beach to take advantage of the great variety of fish that can be found here.  not only fish can be found here - it is estimated that about 500 alligators live within rio de janeiro's city boundaries, and many are often spotted in this region, and on the nearby praia do recreio's side.
