The Castelinho do Flamengo, or 'Little Castle of Flamengo' is a cultural gem located on the seafront, facing Praia de Flamengo, or 'Flamengo Beach'. The charming and picturesque building was designed by the Italian architect, Gino Copede in 1916, and became the residence of Commander Joaquim da Silva Cardoso, a wealthy Portuguese entrepreneur.
