The center has a team of its own curators who promote and disseminate new artistic languages, constantly striving to connect Art, Science and Technology through exhibitions and shows. Oi Flamengo also occasionally hosts open air film screenings, where visitors can laze on deck chairs and enjoy cult classics over beer and snacks.

The architectural design of the building boasts bold lines which make it stand out in the landscape of the district. the building has won a Design Award from the Instituto dos Arquitetos do Brasil, or 'Institute of Brazilian Architects'.
