The objective of this work is to analyze how the urban projects for public spaces helped in the configuration of Lapa as the focal nightlife neighborhood -  The central idea is, therefore, to contribute to the sociological and historical understanding of the spatiality of this region. Presented by the    Fundação Getulio Vargas, the study Um guia informativo dos cursos e oficinas artísticas e culturais da Lapa - Rio de Janeiro,(An informative guide to artistic and cultural courses and workshops in Lapa - Rio de Janeiro), by Roberto Fernandes Dutra de Souza  is a Project for the production of a guide to artistic and cultural courses and workshops in Lapa, Rio de Janeiro. In methodological terms [...] interviews were made with questionnaires in order to collect data to inform the content of the text for the guide. Since the late twentieth century, a process has been underway for the revitalization and transformation of the form and content of buildings in the area.  Nowadays, it is possible to identify a highly successful marketing strategy, presenting Lapa as a bohemian place with a buzzing nightlife, to the detriment of dozens of daytime artistic and cultural activities that have contributed so much to the process of revitalization of the Lapa neighborhood.
