at a glance

one can find here endangered plant species such as the orchid of quarries, the white vellozia, many bromeliads, and anthurium of stones.  

also one can see monkeys, squirrels, lizards, snakes, skunks and bats, as well as birds such as the eared-owl, hawk-carijó, and woodpecker-do-campo. 

alongside its remarkable nature and spectacular views, the park is enjoyed for its pond, play area, amphitheatre, sports areas, trails and its set of five niemeyer sculptures, that were  previously located on praia do leme.
