the  museu (museum) do bonde, offers free of charge many images and artifacts pertaining to the bonde and its history. the museu do bonde is located onrua carlos brant, 14 and can be reached by phone on: 2222 1003. the opening hours are 9:00 to 16:00. rua carlos brant, near largo do guimarães, is santa teresa's most popular street, dotted with shops, bars, and restaurants.

the museu (museum) casa de benjamin constant is the well preserved former home of benjamin constant botelho de magalhães,  founder of the brazilian republic.  here, photographs, paintings, documents, and sculptures tell the story of the constant family and their remarkable lives.  some stunning panoramic views and a beautiful park are also a welcome surprise.  arrow-back      arrow-forward
