The objective of this study is to identify the diverse range of species of vertebrates (mammals, birds and reptiles) that live and/or visit the areas of the JBRJ, disseminate the research data to the scientific world and wider community, identify possible rare species and/or endangered fauna,  determine the importance of the area for the conservation of fauna in the region and collaborate in seeking measures for the protection of wildlife.
