at a glance

designed in english style by landscaper john tyndale, this garden is home to a variety of species from the native atlantic rainforest (mata atlântica). following the winding pathways of this enchanting park, visitors will run into classical elements of a romantic 19th century garden.

parque lage is home to several ponds, two small waterfalls, a hiking trail that gets to christ the redeemer, and an aquarium with about 50 species, as well as small and easy trails and romantic spots where to sit relax and observe monkeys going from one tree to the next.

the aquariums is dedicated to show the exotic biodiversity of the brazilian fresh water biomes, very popular among visitors - gazebos, bridges, caves, fountains and an artificial lake blend harmoniously with the lush vegetation.  arrow-back      arrow-forward
