adega do pimenta is a german restaurant wonderfully located in the delightful bohemian district of santa teresa - the restaurant was opened by a german immigrant called Holf Pfeffer, and in the early 1990s management changed hands to a friend of the owner, who kept the spirit of the place and added a few things.

the menu has something for everyone, including over twenty one different types of sausage - a nice sharing starter is the basket of baked breads including rye bread with a selection of german sausages - frequently requested main dishes include boiled pork ribs or the pork knuckle, which both come served with roasted potatoes and sauerkraut, and for dessert diners can try some traditional and homely apfelstrudel, or apple strudel.  arrow-back      arrow-forward
